About me

As a former game animation student I have been able to identify and avoid miscommunication between programmers and artist when working on larger projects. At times I have even been asked by other groups to help the communication when they have been unsure how to phrase themselves or suspected a misunderstanding has occurred. This is something that is a surprisingly common issue that I have experienced in both my time at the College of Skövde and The Game Assembly.

The most important thing to me at work is the environment and the attitude around me. Sitting next to someone with a positive and friendly attitude, who you can joke with, can save any bad day and that's why I always try to bring my best into work so I can do the same for my colleagues.

My studies at The Game Assembly have really made me appreciate the more technical aspects of game development. It was surprising to me how much I enjoyed programming, being more of an artist I thought it would be too complicated for me, but I learnt that the kick I get from programming is not much more different from when I do problem solving quizzes or sudoku. What has really motivated me throughout my studies are those moments when you are working and you are close to the solution but still figuring it out. The moment of being on the verge of solving the problem and being aware that you are close is very exciting.
